GeometryThe fundamental purpose of the course in Geometry is to formalize and extend students’ geometric experiences from the middle grades. Students explore more complex geometric situations and deepen their explanations of geometric relationships, moving toward formal mathematical arguments. The concepts that will be the major emphasis for this course include congruence, similarity, right triangles, Trigonometry, expressing geometric properties with equations and modeling with geometry. This year, we will begin implementing the Eureka Math Curriculum into our classroom.
